Day on the Farm
Our Day on the Farm is a full experience of what it is like to live and work on a property.
We start with feeding the chickens and collecting eggs, feeding and watering the alpacas and horses, and making sure they are all brushed and looking beautiful and that their stables are clean.
We then tend to the gardens and the greenhouse to harvest any produce that is ready, and plant the new seedings. We check on the bees and have a taste of our recently harvested honey.
We have relaxing breaks throughout the day, sitting amongst the rainforest for morning tea, and by the dam for lunch where we can watch the water dragons, turtles, and kookaburras.
Our afternoon is made up with a stroll through the rainforest where we discuss the history of the property and visit the old coal mining machinery that has been left. On our walk we also collect pieces of nature to make bush art in the paddock for the remainder of the afternoon and learn about the aboriginal history and musical instruments.
NDIS rebates available upon request.
